Plot
In the last days of communism in Romania, college student Gabita (Laura Vasiliu) wants to end her unplanned pregnancy. With help from best friend and fellow student Otilia (Anamaria Marinca), Gabita seeks an abortion -- which is illegal under the oppressive Ceausescu regime.
Film received a Golden Globe nominiation for Best Foreign Language Film.
