Produced by the director of GOMORRAH and directed by one of its screenwriters, this subtle, observant, and utterly charming comedy couldn't be more different. Aging bachelor Gianni (played with droll gravity by director Di Gregorio) cares for his demanding but beloved 90-year-old mother. When circumstances saddle him with three other elderly ladies over a holiday weekend, Gianni has his hands full dealing with crotchets and quibbles, but he unexpectedly finds himself more beguiled than burdened by his fussy, feisty houseguests.
