Chicago World Music for Haiti

Chicago world musicians unite for an evening that breaks down borders while helping re-build a country in need. The event joins musicians from four different continents and numerous musical backgrounds. The vibrant and energetic line-up includes Indo-Afro-Carribean funk from the critically acclaimed Funkadesi, soulful roots-reggae from Rebel Roots, Afro-Middle Eastern jazz fusion from Magic Carpet & global beats from DJ Mwelwa. This music is guaranteed to make you move, so grab your dancing shoes and get ready to groove!

100% of funds raised will be donated to the following organizations Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti (http://haitiancongress.org), CHAI - Concerned Haitian Americans of Illinois (http://www.chai-haiti.org/), and L'Hopital de la Communaute Haitienne (http://www.haitihosp.org/lHopital_de_la_Communaute_Haitienne/Home.html)
