Chicago Summer Dance has live music by Angel Melendez & The 911 Mambo Orchestra Tribute to El Cantante, performing Traditional Salsa music.
Composer, arranger, instructor, and trombonist Angel Melendez leads the 21-piece 911 Mambo Orchestra, one of the most popular Latin bands in Chicago. The group plays an array of Latin music from the modern tropical sounds of today ranging from Salsas, Boleros, and Cha Cha Chas to the most traditional hard hitting Mambo of the 50’s.
